Senior Pastor

Ordained in the Lutheran church, Pastor Jeff came to St. Mark’s in 2000 after ministering to congregations in Saskatchewan.  He settled here in Mississauga along with his wife Sylvia and three children Sarah, David, and Jessica.  The Miskus clan has since grown with the addition of grandchildren. Jeff loves preaching, teaching, and singing – so he has come to the right place!

Starting in July 2024, Pastor Jeff has accepted a 1-year assignment as President and Bishop of the English District (the association of Lutheran churches that we belong to). Jeff will have oversight of 160 congregations, mostly in the USA. He will still be partly based here, though, and we will see him lead services at St. Mark’s from time to time while he takes on this important role.
