December Services and Events

The Christmas season officially kicks off with the beginning of Advent (Advent means “coming”).  In 2025, Advent begins on Sunday, November 30. This is the first day of the church year!

Live Nativity

Friday, December 19th

We are back with our long-standing tradition of presenting a Live Nativity! On this night, “actors” dress in costume and take the parts of Mary, Joseph, shepherds, wise men, and an angel in our outside stable. They are joined by real farm animals. Meanwhile a live band plays carols and Christmas songs while spectators sing along. And there’s more!

Services – Overview

During Advent, there are Wednesday evening worship services.  These are under an hour in length and are very traditional in style.  They have a very contemplative, intimate feel to them, and a great sermon.

Of course, we still have our regular Sunday services, plus Sunday School during the 9:00 service.

The 24th of December has special Christmas Eve candlelight services and there is a morning service on Christmas Day.
