Terry’s Take… What to Do?
Recently I was reading the Gospel account of what is known as “the conversion of St. Paul.” St. Paul’s conversion was quick and radical…he immediately asks the Lord, “What will you have me do, Lord?”
Encountering the Lord’s promptings in our hearts is one thing, but willingly responding to such graces is another. In our daily conversions, may we all be like St. Paul and have the humility and fortitude to not only ask the Lord what he wills for us…but also conform our will to His.
God gives us the grace to reform our lives. And when we don’t…He gives His mercy when we repent and offers us forgiveness.
With renewed eagerness, let us ask God for the grace to boldly ask what He wants us to do!
